Edukasi Penggunaan Financial Technology (Fintech) Pada Pelajar Sekolah Menengah Atas Di Kota Mataram

Abstract

The rapid development of Financial Technology (Fintech) has facilitated financial transactions but also poses risks such as cybercrime and uncontrolled financial behavior. These risks are more likely to affect Generation Z, who have grown up in the digital era with broad access to fintech services. This community service program aims to provide education to students on the wise use of fintech. The program was conducted in two main stages: preparation and implementation. The preparation stage included identifying students’ problems and developing appropriate educational materials. The implementation stage involved delivering the materials through interactive presentations, discussions, and supporting media such as posters, videos, and PowerPoint slides. The evaluation results indicate that participants gained increased knowledge regarding the prudent use of fintech. Participants also perceived the materials as easy to understand, engaging, and relevant, which motivated them to adopt more responsible behavior in utilizing fintech services.
